Then just start pelting him with as many long-range magic attacks as you can-Faye’s Saggitae is particularly useful, as is Seraphim. Once you do clear out the courtyard, spend the next turn healing as many units as you can while you wait for Rudolf to close in. Soon, Rudolf will soon grow tired of seeing you slaughter his soldiers, and will ride out to meet you-this is a good thing, because it means you won’t have to fight the rest of the units situated on the eastern wall. Otherwise, keep the gap in the wall at the south end of the courtyard plugged with your highest-defense units so the enemy can’t reach your weaker units, and keep plugging away at the enemy Gold Knights and Bow Knights. While you work on picking off the enemy units in the courtyard, you may want to have your Bow Knights start working on the units surrounding Rudolf-you should be able to reach them without getting in range of their own attacks. If you do have to engage the enemy Gold Knights with your own, be aware that they’re all level 5 and very likely to be faster than any of your own unless you’ve done some serious grinding… so make sure you have the healing resources to keep your units standing through consecutive rounds of double-attacks. Continue knocking off the enemy Bow Knights with your own, but start moving your units back out of the courtyard-now that you’ve baited the enemy into action, they’ll follow you south and you’ll be able to engage with your slower tank units and mages. They’re not to be trifled with, especially because two of them are equipped with Ridersbane. On the enemy’s turn, Rudolf’s forces on the west of the castle will begin to move into position to meet your army in battle. Finally, get the rest of your units started on their northward march into the courtyard (With the exception of your mages, which you should hold back until there aren’t any Bow Knights left to fire on them.) At the same time, you should start moving your Gold Knights into the courtyard, along with Clair-have Silque Warp her a bit north of her starting position first, though, so she can fly far enough north to get out of range of the enemy Bow Knights. You want to keep the enemy Bow Knights from doing too much damage to your army as it passes into the courtyard, so placing your own here allows you to slowly whittle them down as they move in to attack, while ensuring the only danger they’re in is from the Bow Knights on their specific sides (placing your Bow Knights directly in the gap in the wall puts them at risk of being killed as enemy Bow Knights on each side will continue targeting the same unit.) Have Tatiana keep them healed using Physic. Start off by positioning your Bow Knights south of the wall on which all the enemy units are posted (one on each side of the gap), and have them target the enemy Bow Knights that are closest to the gap. If you’re satisfied with your units levels, classes, equipment and abilities, go ahead and dive into the final battle of Act 4. Have all of your units reached their master classes yet?
